Update: The DSA website is now  up and running. (www.deafseniors.org)

Deadline for the Sale of $275 Combo Tickets Extended One Month

The $275 combo ticket rate is due to expire on June 30, 2012.   However, we will have a booth at the NAD conference in Louisville, KY, July 3-7, the CMT (Conference Management Team) has decided to extend the deadline for the $275 combo ticket rate to the end of July to give NAD attendees and everybody else an additional month to save $25.  The $300 combo ticket rate will go into effect on August 1, 2012.

Monthly Installment Payment Plan

The CMT has always had an installment payment plan for combo tickets (see the FAQ on the www.dsa2013baltimore.org website).  However, we have learned that many people are not aware of this plan.  Therefore, we want to announce once more again that we do have an installment payment plan for purchasing your combo tickets that will allow you to pay for them over a period of 5 or 6 months. For more information, contact our registration chairperson, Holly Macfadden at registration@dsa2013baltimore.org.

Non-Combo Individual Ticket Rates To Be Offered Soon

The CMT will soon announce non-combo individual rates for those people who do not wish to stay the whole time or do not want to attend the welcome reception, farewell banquet/gala, or some evening activities.

Making a Room Reservation at Hilton Baltimore Hotel

Hilton Baltimore reservation system will start accepting room reservations for the conference this September.  The nightly room rates are $159 for 2 people to a room, $179 for 3 people in a room, and $199 for 4 people in a room.   Taxes are additional.   More information will be announced at a later date.

Why is Everybody Not on the “Who’s Attending” List?

Some of you may wonder that the number of people who are listed on the ‘Who’s Attending” list is less than our announcement that we have already more than 800 people registered.  The CMT will not add names to the list of any registrants who had indicated that they do not want to be listed and of those who have not completed in making their monthly installment payments.  If you are registered and you do not see your name on the list then contact our registration chairperson at registration@dsa2013baltimore.org and request that your name be added to the list.

$800 Donation Received

Many thanks go to DSA President Jim Potter and his group consisting of 31 ladies and gentlemen plus 2 interpreters for making a donation of $800 to the DSA 2013 Baltimore conference fund.  Those people went on Grand Canyon train trip on April 9-10, 2012, and they have agreed to donate proceeds from the train trip fund to DSA 2013 Baltimore conference fund.  The CMT welcomes donations from any organizations, groups, and individuals.  The money will be used to defray conference expenses.

Remember to register before July 31, 2012, and pay $275 for a combo ticket.  The combo ticket price goes up to $300 effective August 1, 2012.  Click “registration” above.
